Jessica Alba recently triggered media frenzy after she flaunted her "skinny" frame in a bikini-clad photo. The actress displayed her ripped body in a cream coloured two-piece and a sarong, while she was vacationing in Thailand.

The 33-year-old is known to have knack for fitness and this is probably the reason she maintains her figure, in spite of being a mother of two kids. It has been now revealed that Jessica is learning a new fighting skill for her upcoming movie "Mechanic: Resurrection" which, has further helped her to stay in shape.

The fighting technique is called Karva Maga. It is an Israeli military's official system, which involves hand-to-hand combat. Karva Maga has reportedly helped her burn a lot of calories. Jessica practices the fighting technique two to four times in a week with Michael Margolin. A one-hour session focuses on focus on high-intensity interval training.

"We start with a warm-up, and then we do intervals," says Margolin to People. "We do a lot of mitt work where she's kicking and punching various targets as strong as she can for a period of time, and then she rests for a period of time."

Apart from this Alba also does rowing, push-ups and yoga. She also goes for spinning classes and works hard to maintain a proper diet. She is known to binge on healthy fruit shakes and high content protein food. She also likes eating fresh vegetables and makes sure that her daughters eat healthy food just like her, as reported by US Magazine.

Meanwhile, "Mechanic: Resurrection," will see the return of Jason Statham. He will be reprising the role of Arthur Bishop. He plays the titular role in the film and will be tasked with three new assassinations. Jessica, Tommy Lee Jones, and Michelle Yeoh have joined him in the film. "Mechanic: Resurrection," is set to release in 2016.

Jessica will also be seen in "Dear Eleanor" as Daisy, in "Barely Lethal" as Victoria Knox, in "How to make love like in Englishman" as Kate and in "Stretch." Her recently released film is "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," which proved a major box office failure.
