Joseph Antonion Cartagena, professionally known as Fat Joe, is known for his collaboration songs with Jennifer Lopez incuding “Stressin” and “Hold You Down.” Recently, the rapper and Terror Squad CEO revealed that one of his regrets has something to do with Eminem.

Fat Joe recently performed at The Bungalow in Central, Hong Kong, which marks his first appearance in one of the most densely populated regions of the world. While in Hong Kong, the rapper was asked about his regrets in an interview with South China Morning Post.

According to Fat Joe, his biggest regret is not signing Detroit rapper Eminem, who recently executive produced the boxing film “Southpaw” soundtrack with his manager Paul Rosenberg. Fat Joe revealed that Eminem approached him six different times and gave him several demos but he refused to sign him.

On Nov. 12, 1996, Eminem released his debut studio album “Infinite” through Web Entertainment and went on to become one of the best-selling artists of all time. After the success of this second studio album “The Slim Shady,” he founded Shady Records with his manager Paul Rosenberg and signed 50 Cent and Obie Trice, among others, to the label.

Aside from revealing how he regrets not signing Eminem, Fat Joe also talked about the death of hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik member Sean Price. For him, it is unfortunate having to death with deaths, such as that of Price, who he considers a hip hop legend.

Price was found dead in his apartment in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Aug. 8 and the cause of death is still unknown while he was believed to have died in his sleep. Eminem was one of the rappers who helped raised funds in support of Price’s family.

Meanwhile, after executive producing the “Southpaw” sountdrack, Eminem was recently featured in the soundtrack of the animated film “Capture the Flag,” which was directed by Enrique Gato. The “8 Mile” actor performed the sing “Cookies.”
