Jennifer Lopez is the cover girl of InStyle’s February issue. In the new issue of the magazine, the singer and actress dons a rust-coloured sweater by Acne Studios with a white skirt from the Calvin Klein Collection. Lopez took to Instagram and shared a picture of the cover.

As is evident from her Instagram post, the magazine will hit newsstands on Friday. The “On the Floor” hitmaker spoke to InStyle about her 10 outfit changes at the 2015 American Music Awards in November that left her body bruised black and blue. “I had scratches and bruises everywhere from trying on so much stuff,” she said.

The 46-year-old singer dropped jaws with her see-through gowns, skintight catsuits and cleavage-baring dresses when she hosted the show in Los Angeles two months ago. The “Booty” singer said that she would not try to be a comedian because her strengths are as a singer, dancer and a performer, InStyle reports. Jennifer has her plate full this year as she is judging “American Idol” and starring in the upcoming NBC drama, “Shades of Blue.”

Lopez is also gearing up for her “All I Have” Las Vegas residency. The mother of two announced in May 2015 that she will begin a residency in the city’s Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2016. Through her Vegas residency, Lopez wants her fans and the audience to spend an evening with her and get to know her better.

The singer also spoke about her seven-year-old twins, Max and Emme. Lopez said that her kids are well aware of the fact that their mom needed to get sleep. She added that her kids travel with her everywhere and when she sleeps, they remain very quiet, E! Online reports.

Jennifer’s mom, Guadalupe, and sister Lynda also help take care of her twins. She added that she FaceTimes with her twins in the afternoon and if she comes home after they have gone to sleep, she takes a photo of herself by their beds to let them know that she cares for them.

Her new NBC series, “Shades of Blue,” premieres on Jan. 7. “American Idol’s” final season premieres on Jan. 6 on Fox. Her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino will run from Jan. 20 to Feb. 9 and then from May 22 to June 12.
