Jennifer Lopez, Casper Smart split anew

It’s now over for the on-again, off-again celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Casper split.

Various outlets reported that the 47-year-old singer-actress ended her five-year relationship with the 29-year-old choreographer. Sources said the “Love won’t Cost a Thing” singer had decided to pull the plug and end the relationship.

People first reported about the break up, citing a source close to Lopez who confirmed that the couple have not been together for a few weeks.

“Jennifer and Casper have split. They have not been together for a few weeks,” the source revealed.

"It wasn't anything dramatic and they were on good terms – it just came to a natural end. They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable."

Neither camps confirmed nor denied the report. However, Casper was spotted attending Lopez’s Caesar Palace show on Aug. 13. The couple was even photographed with Lopez’ ex-husband Marc Anthony and his girlfriend Shannon de Lima. Lopez has an eight-year-old twin, Max and Emme, with Marc Anthony.

Rumours about Lopez and Smart’s romance began in 2011 but it was only in July 2012 that the two openly spoke about their relationship. Smart was present during Lopez’ July 24 birthday bash in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lopez currently stars on the NBC hit drama series “Shades of Blue.” She is also co-producing a talent show with NBC titled “World of Dance.”

Earlier on, Lopez collaborated with Italian shoe designed Guiseppe Zanotti for a shoe line that was unveiled at the recent Footwear Fashion Association event in New York.

On top of her showbiz career, Lopez has also ventured into retail with her clothing brand, JLO. She also launched a fragrance line with Coty, a fashion line for Kohl’s and a jewelry collection under Endless.
