“The Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence has a new movie added to the list of her work credits. The latest reports claim the 24-year-old Oscar-winning actress is set to star as war photographer Lynsey Addario in director Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film titled “It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War.”

Variety reports that the upcoming project attracted numerous offers following the appearance of Lynsey Addario’s article titled “What Can a Pregnant Photojournalist Cover? Everything” in the New York Times Magazine. Lynsey Addario, 41, is recognized for producing intense images of people in crisis and conflicts from countries such as Afghanistan, Libya, Lebanon and Iraq.

An exclusive Deadline report revealed that Warner Bros. is closing a deal for “It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life Of Love And War” with film director Steven Spielberg, producer Andew Lazar and actress Jennifer Lawrence as the lead star but the studio encountered other bidders trying to get the project. The other bidders included Darren Aronofsky, who has been trying to attach Natalie Portman to the movie project, Working Title was trying for actress Reese Witherspoon and the Weinstein Company that was bidding for actor George Clooney and Grant Heslov.

“Silver Linings Playbook” actress Jennifer Lawrence currently films “Joy” where she portrays Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano. The biographical film is scheduled to be released on Dec. 25, 2015 in the United States.

Jennifer Lawrence has taken to Facebook her reaction to the circulating rumours about her and film director David O. Russell’s “fight” on the movie set. The young actress wanted to clear up the “terrible rumour” of having a conflict with director David O. Russell while filming because what they really have is an amazing working relationship.

“Hey guys! It’s Jen! I know I don’t go on here a lot because I can barely work email but there’s been a terrible rumor going around the last 24 hours so I wanted to clear it up. David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship. I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey. This movie is going great and I’m having a blast making it!” Lawrence’s Facebook post reads in a Cinema Blend report.

Meanwhile, director Steven Spielberg is currently in post-production with his upcoming thriller film titled “Bridge of Spies.” The film, which stars Tom Hanks as James B. Donovan, is scheduled to be released in the United States on Oct. 16, 2015.
