Jennifer Lawrence finally shows her face in the new trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1." The brunette beauty plays the champion Katniss Everdeen in the first part of the last instalment of the movie franchise.

This much-awaited trailer was released early during Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend. However, some were also able to watch the trailer early by going to their local Best Buy store, according to Forbes. The movie was shot in different locations in Georgia and Massachusetts, according to IMDB.

It is the third and final instalment for the "The Hunger Games" series and this trailer has been greatly anticipated by fans of the book as it showcases the final battle of Katniss against the Capitol and President Snow.

The trailer opens in the discussion between the rebel leaders in using Katniss as the face of the rebellion. The late Phillip Seymour Hoffman played one of the rebels Plutarch Heavensbee who is also the former Head Gamemaker in "Catching Fire."

He firmly supports Katniss' role as the "Mockingjay" saying, "No one else can do this but her." Plutarch is also joined by President Coin, played by Julianne Moore, who contradicts the former's suggestion in having Katniss as the face of the rebellion.

"She won't be able to handle it. The games destroyed her," said President Coin. President Snow (Donald Sutherland) also makes an appearance banning the people from associating with the symbol of the "Mockingjay." The stirrings of the rebellion are also shown with Cressida (Natalie Dormer from "Game of Thrones") and Gale (Liam Hemsworth). Dormer is also one of the characters to look forward to in the upcoming instalment.

The one-minute trailer is the first of the many possible trailers that Lionsgate will release to up the excitement for their upcoming movie. However, one of the main characters, Peeta Mellark, was a no-show in the said trailer. Fans of the tandem between Peeta and Katniss will surely look for Josh Hutcherson in the next teaser.

The teaser ends in Katniss saying yes to the rebellion. It's release date in Australia is on Nov. 20, 2014.
