The former “Sam & Cat” star Jennette McCurdy recently opened up about her alleged feud with Ariana Grande. The 22-year-old actress cum singer revealed that things were “misconstrued.” She also spoke about her bond and friendship with the singer and said it is “impenetrable.”

“I just feel that, you know Ariana and I were and are extremely close and very like-minded in a lot of different ways and then, sorta as the show dissolved, everybody wanted to find some sort of hidden meaning in our relationship. Some like drama and I think we butted heads at times but in a very sisterly way,” she said to Eonline.

Jennette even admitted that ups and down are bound to happen when you are working with same set of people round the clock. However, according to her, she and Ariana are quite “close.” The news of Ariana and Jennette’s feud ripened when Nickelodeon decided to cancel "Sam & Cat," according to Deadline. Jennette did not join Ariana at the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards and which had further added to the feud rumours. However, now that the actress has set the record straight, it seems things are fine between the former co-stars.

Meanwhile, Jennette is currently gearing up for a new Netflix drama “Between.” She will be seen playing pregnant teen on the show. The name of her character will be Willy Day and she will be shown living in a small town of Pretty Lake.

The show revolves around a plague, which poses life threat to people aged above 21. The show is scheduled to be premiered on May 21. It also stars Jesse Carere, Jack Murray, Justin Kelly, Jim Watson, Wesley Morgan, Michael Reventar, Kyle Mac, Ryan Allen and Michael Boisvert and has been created by Michael McGowan. The series is currently set for six-episodes of one hour and is being produced by Netflix and City. The show will air on a weekly basis and its first exclusive preview aired at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. “Between” is slated to air Shomi, City and Netflix.
