The first time dad has reportedly bought his four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter a solid gold rocking horse. And just yesterday, he was out on a mission to find a gift for his ladylove Beyonce.

The singer/producer was spotted leaving Jacob and Co. in New York City where he reportedly selected a rare "blue diamond" for his wife. He was seen emerging from the store later to head off to a wedding anniversary celebration with Beyonce.

A source tells Mail Online that the rapper has chosen something after he looked at the "Lumina" rare blue diamonds collection.

Upon walking out, Jay Z embraced the store owner as he headed towards his tinted SUV. The singer was friendly enough to pose for a few pictures and shook hands with a few construction workers nearby.

According to reports, the power couple would like to renew their vows in a simple but elegant wedding. A source told Star magazine that the rapper came up with the idea and just like their first wedding; it was expected to be held at their home in Scarsdale, New York.

"They want the ceremony to be simple but elegant. They're having Nobu cater it, and Jay put together a special presentation showing him and Bee through the years," the insider added.
