Jared Leto was seen running away from paparazzi at the Los Angeles airport on Monday to avoid questions about Taylor Swift. The singer recently wrote an apology to Swift following the release of a video that shows him criticising the singer. The video has since gone viral two months after it was taken at a studio in Los Angeles.

The video below shows Leto in a hooded jacket covering his face with his duffel bag as he makes a dash toward the airport exit. The actor didn’t say anything when asked why he was running or whether he likes Swift. Instead, he just kept running until he made it to his destination.

The encounter came after Leto took to his Twitter page to apologise to Swift. The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman said he didn’t mean to say bad things about the “Blank Space” singer. He also extended his apology to her fans.

He didn’t mention what he was apologising for, but his Twitter post came after a video was released by TMZ, which shows Leto criticising Swift.

The video below shows the actor and a friend listening to some tracks from Swift’s “1989” album. The “Suicide Squad” star was asked what he thought about three of her songs, including “Blank Space, “Welcome to New York” and “Style.”

“Welcome to New York” was played first, which Leto frankly said he doesn’t like. However, he gave compliments for “Blank Space” when it was played next.

“It is good. I wanna steal that,” Leto is heard saying in the video below.

“Style” was played last, which the actor simply described as “interesting little pop song.” He also mistook the lyrics “star-crossed lovers” as “Starbucks lovers.”

Leto apparently didn’t recognise Swift from her songs. When his friend asked him if he knew who the artist was, he guessed it was Charlie XCX. His friend then tells him, “She (Swift) just stole it from her (Charlie XCX) and crushed it.”

“I mean f**k her. I don’t give a f**k about her it’s about whatever works best for us,” the actor is heard telling his friend afterward.

According to TMZ, the video was taken a couple of months back at the band’s studio in Los Angeles. Leto and his friend were trying to look for inspiration for new music and thought Swift would be the right example. After all, she has just been nominated for seven Grammys.

It’s unknown at this moment if Swift has any “bad blood” with Leto regarding his statements. The singer has yet to comment on the video and to Leto’s apology for her on Twitter. Meanwhile, she is currently enjoying her time at her Gold Coast tour.
