Former “America’s Next Top Model” judge Janice Dickinson is suing Bill Cosby for defamation and emotional distress because she does not want to be the comedian's victim again. This is in response to the denial of Bill Cosby’s camp that such an attack took place, releasing a statement specifically saying the whole story was just fabricated.

After Bill Cosby denied Dickinson’s accusations that he raped her, the supermodel judge now wants to see him in court. Dickinson, 60 is insisting that she had been drugged and raped back in 1982 in Lake Tahoe by the comedian, 77. The model told Entertainment Tonight that she would not allow Cosby’s camp to brand her as a liar, especially after the ordeal she went through in the hands of Cosby. She emphasized that she was drugged and raped and being called a liar after those bad things that happened to her is not “correct.” She added that she is not after anything monetary by doing this. "I’m not being paid anything monetarily to do this, it’s just the right thing to do,” she explained.

Dickinson’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom, provided more details what pushed her client to go to the court. According to Bloom, the supermodel refuses to become a victim again. "What sparked this lawsuit is Bill Cosby through his representatives calling Janice Dickinson a liar. and Janice is refusing to be re-victimized." The lawyer implied that if Dickinson will not fight the allegations of Cosby’s camp that she lied about the rape story, she would become a victim once again. According to TMZ, which obtained the documents of the lawsuit, Dickinson is suing for “unspecified amount in damages.”

Earlier this month, Dickinson told “Oprah: Where Are They Now?" that she is now a changed woman. Once branded as a alcoholic and drug user, the supermodel shared that she is now 100% sober and clean. Unfortunately, being clean and getting booked for jobs does not go hand in hand for her, she said. She explained that when she was acting crazy, she had non-stop jobs. Now that she is clean, the bookings are less.
