'Jane The Virgin' Spoilers: Jane Gets Stuck In An Elevator With Michael In Released Promo Video For Episode 10 [WATCH]
Things will not go smoothly for Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) when the new hit CW TV series "Jane The Virgin" returns with the second half of the pilot season. In the promo video for "Jane The Virgin" episode 10, Jane will be stuck in an elevator with Michael (Brett Dier), her ex-fiancé detective who still thinks there is something off with Jane's baby daddy, Rafael (Justin Baldoni).
In the promo video, Jane is on her way to talk to Rafael but Michael was able to stop the elevator and get in to talk to Jane. Michael thinks Rafael is keeping something that Jane should know but Jane does not want to listen to Michael and asked him to stop.
Then, the elevator stopped and the lights turned off leaving Jane and Michael stuck inside. Watch the promo video below. In a TV Line interview, executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman teased the other storylines that will happen in the mid-season premiere episode.
The executive producer revealed that "Jane The Virgin" episode 10 will be the show's hurricane episode following Alba's (Ivonne Coll) fall on the stairwell. "We pick up right after the [midseason finale]. It was a serious fall, and she's in the hospital. There's definitely real emotional and physical jeopardy there," Urman teased.
Jennie Snyder Urman further revealed that Jane's grandmother will not remember what happened at the hotel and no one will know that it was Magda (Priscilla Barnes), Petra's (Yael Grobglas) mother, who pushed Alba down the stairs.
In the upcoming "hurricane" episode, the executive producer teased that Rafael will be totally there for Jane but he will be dealing as well with the problems happening at the hotel. Jennie Snyder Urman confirmed that the viewers will finally find out who Sin Rostro is in episode 12 as well as Rafael's connection to the case that Michael is working on.
"It's all connected. I would say that the thing you won't know at this point is whether Michael is spiraling out of jealousy or because he's onto something with Rafael. That's a big question," Snyder explained. When asked if Rafael's secret will make him a bad guy in the show, the executive producer wanted the fans to wait and see.
"We don't aim to destroy. We aim to complicate," the executive producer declared. Lastly, Jennie Snyder Urman confirmed that Jane and Rafael's baby will arrive in episode 22. "Jane The Virgin" returns with episode 10 titled "Chapter Ten" on Monday night, Jan. 19, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
