James Packer has got a new diva. The Australian billionaire is said to be dating music superstar Mariah Carey, and the two have been photographed holding hands together on the streets of Capri, Italy on Friday.

Photographs obtained by TMZ show the American songstress and the Australian casino mogul flaunting their romance while on vacation. Packer and Carey, wearing a cleavage-bearing maxi dress, proudly walked together while holding hands in Italy.

They were allegedly staying on 47-year-old Packer’s yacht and will be on the boat for “an extended vacation.” They will then be off to Cannes and St. Tropez. Sources close to Carey told TMZ Packer has been aggressively pursuing the Grammy Award winner for months, and from the looks of it, he has succeeded in his quest. Other sources, meanwhile, claimed the pair have been secretly dating for weeks.

They apparently met through filmmaker Brett Ratner, who helmed box office hits “Rush Hour” and “Horrible Bosses,” as well as produce the TV drama “Prison Break.” Packer co-runs RatPac Entertainment with Ratner, an Us Weekly source noted.

Carey is separated from husband Nick Cannon since 2014. They married in 2008, with Cannon filing for divorce from the 45-year-old star in January. They are raising their twins, Monroe and Moroccan (born April 2011), together. She was previously married to music executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998.

Packer, whose net worth, according to BRW magazine, is at $6 billion, has also been married twice. He was married to swimsuit model Jodhi Meares from 1999 until 2002, and to model and singer Erica Baxter from 2007 until 2013.

If Packer and Carey are indeed dating, she is then his first public girlfriend since his divorce from Baxter. He was previously romantically linked to supermodel Miranda Kerr, but both parties denied the reports.
