Agent 007 is back. The 24th James Bond movie is set to hit the screen next year and will be titled 'Spectre', as per the announcement made by franchise's British studio Pinewood Studios.

The title, 'Spectre', and the members of the cast are now officially confirmed after the announcement. Daniel Craig will once again return to thrill the audience as Agent 007 along with Naomi Harris, Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes. These actors will be reprising their roles from 2012's Bond flick 'Skyfall'. The announcement was made by the movie's director Sam Mendes, who also directed the previous Bond adventure, as confirmed by Hollywood Reporter.

The film will also include new cast members, namely, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott and Monica Bellucci. Waltz will play Oberhauser, who is Bond's ski-instructor and whom he consider as his second father in earlier movies. Meanwhile, 50 year-old Belluci is making history by becoming one of the oldest Bond girl to date and will portray the character of Lucia Sciarra. She will be joined by another Bond girl Madeleine Swann played by Seydoux.

Bond producer Barbara Broccoli said at the launch that she has been aiming to involve Spectre in the movie for many years now. The shooting of the film will start on Monday with a scene featuring Daniel Craig's superspy Naomie Harris in her office. Apart from the Pinewood studio, the shooting will also take place in Rome, London, Morocco, Mexico City and the Austrian Alps.

The title of the movie is inspired by a fictitious terrorist organisation, which first appeared in Ian Fleming's original novels and was also mentioned in the first Bond film in 1962. 'Spectre' is an acronym for 'Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion'. The firm is headed by Ernst Stavro Blofeld and has developed into a complex organization, which includes criminal mastermind members like Gestapo, the Mafia and Smersh. The firm already has an important place in the franchisee as 'Spectre' along with its head Blofeld and his white Persian cat also appeared in seven earlier Bond movies. Its logo is an octopus, which can also be seen in the poster of the new Bond film.
