Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes of The Wanted have officially announced their relationship over Twitter. While some are happy over the latest cute couple, a few fans are still hung up on Grande's former beau, Jai Brooks. Now, it has become a war between "Nariana" and "Jariana" fans.

After months of hiding their relationship status to the public, Ariana and Nathan have finally confirmed their status on Twitter. Given countless photos of the couple on their recent trip to Disneyland, it's no surprise Nathan and Ariana have been honest about their status now.

"So, I guess it's obvious now . . . thanks to everyone who is being so lovely. I'm so happy #butweareterrified #pleasedontkillme #orariana," tweeted Nathan, to which Ariana added, "We hesitated saying anything as people can be a bit insensitive but thank u. We value all of your happiness, thank you for valuing ours."

Though fans of Ariana Grande are pleased she's happy with Nathan, a few fans claim she's quick to move on from her past relationship. Before "Nariana" was even a trend online, "Jariana" was the cutest couple to boot. Jai Brooks of "The Janoskians" and Ariana Grande dated for quite a while before both called it quits a few months ago.

Ariana and Nathan keeping the relationship under wraps was definitely a good decision judging from the hate tweets about them on Twitter. Aside from dealing with angry tweets from her ex-beau's brother, Ariana has to deal with a few death threats on Twitter following their couple announcement with Nathan Sykes.

"She was getting death threats and couldn't deal with it. But they kept talking and she realized she really wanted to be with him, so they are giving it another go," explains the source to US Magazine, adding, "She really wants to see where this goes. She is just going to ignore the haters, but she was genuinely scared for her safety."
