Jaden Smith has been the subject of another celebrity death hoax story. But the young celebrity, who just turned 18, remains active on Twitter. He is playing Marcus “Dizzee” Kipling on the new Netflix series "The Get Down." The young actor has also been busy promoting the show's official soundtrack, saying the album is "fire."

Jaden Smith death hoax made by internet trolls

This is the second death hoax involving Jaden. Incidentally, his musical drama series “The Get Down” is slated to premiere on Netflix on Aug. 12. It can be recalled back in 2011, Internet trolls also used Jaden for a deceitful death story. It came a year after “The Karate Kid” movie came out. The false reports stated that Jaden got into a snowboarding accident in Switzerland which ended his life. Will and his camp immediately disproved the distasteful rumour.

Now, trolls have reported the young actor has committed suicide after his 18th birthday. Jaden’s Twitter account, however, remains active. The teenage celebrity is even promoting "The Get Down" tracks. The first 12-episode installment has 24 songs in its OST.

Will Smith dishes scoop on Jaden Smith's birthday on the Jimmy Fallon show

The fake 'Jaden Smith dead' story came out around the same time Will was on the Jimmy Fallon show talking about his family. The "Suicide Squad" actor even said Jaden wanted to celebrate his 18th birthday with alcohol in UK.

In a separate interview with ET, Will said his sons Jaden and Trey told him he needs to stop making any more movies. This remark came after the Smith siblings watched “Suicide Squad.” The brothers think that Will’s character “Deadshot” is the best character he’ll ever have.

“They said this is it. I'll never make anything better than this,” Will said. “Deadshot is the best character I will ever play, and I need to stop making movies."

'Karate Kid' Jaden releases new songs, headlines 'The Get Down' track list

Jaden has just released a new song “LABOR V2” to celebrate his birthday. The song is a six-minute jazz music which features a lengthy string instrumental opening and the lyrics “eighteen, eighteen, eighteen.” He also has two songs in his upcoming Netflix series: "Welcome to the Get Down" and "Losing Your Mind" (with Raury).

Fans who have been waiting for "The Get Down" release on Netflix can get the original soundtrack via iTunes from Aug. 12.

Jaden has recently shared with his fans a character poster of himself which he captioned, “I Hope You’re Ready To Get Down.” The show's official soundtrack includes Christina Aguilera, Janelle Monáe and Miguel, among many others.

This latest Jaden Smith death hoax story may have fooled some casual internet readers. However, many social media users have been used to these kinds of lies by now. By the time Netflix's "The Get Down" release date arrives, people would know for sure that Will's son is alive and well.
