Jackie Chan Death Hoax 2013: Chinese Actor Reacts on Facebook Message and Photo [PHOTOS]

Favorite martial arts superstar Jackie Chan has been reported dead for the past weeks but the Chinese actor finally reacts about the circulating fake death claims. On his Facebook page, Jackie Chan wrote a message with an attached photograph to prove that he is very much alive and doing just fine.

The 59-year-old Asian action star recently attended the 2013 Chinese Film Festival in New Delhi, India. During his free time, Jackie Chan wrote a message for his fans on Facebook on Friday, June 21, with a picture that shows him holding a newspaper.

Jackie Chan's Facebook message reads: "Hi everybody! Yesterday, I got on a 3am flight from India to Beijing. I didn't get a chance to sleep and even had to clean my house when I got home. Today, everybody called to congratulate me on my rumored engagement. Afterward, everybody called me to see if I was alive. If I died, I would probably tell the world! I took a photo with today's date, just in case you don't believe me! However, thank you all for your concern. Kiss kiss and love you all!"

The Chinese actor further added: "P.S. My dog is healthy, just like me! He doesn't need surgery! By the way, my dogs are golden retrievers, not Labradors." Jackie Chan recently became the favorite target on celebrity death hoax reports on the internet.

Jackie Chan was reported to be dead in March 2011 due to heart failure. The fake death reports began to re-surface in the early days of June and it immediately spread on social media web sites like Twitter.

Global Associated News web site has created a status for reporting sham death news on famous people. Other famous celebrities victimized with the cruel online death hoaxes includes veteran actor Morgan Freeman, Reese Witherspoon, comedian Bill Cosby, Robert Pattinson, Denzel Washington, singer Adele, teen pop star Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

Fans can now heave a sigh of relief after Jackie Chan's posted Facebook message. The actor's last film project was the "Chinese Zodiac" but he will still work on upcoming films "Skiptrace" and "The Expendables 3" which are both scheduled for a release in 2014.

Jackie Chan has announced as well his plans to transform the autobiography "I Am Jackie Chan" into a musical.
