The next murder case in “iZombie” Season 2, episode 8 -- titled “The Hurt Stalker” -- will put Detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) in a tight spot. Liv Moore (Rose McIver) tries to help Detective Babineaux in the new episode but she will end up in trouble as well because of the traits she temporarily inherited after eating the murder victim’s brains.

The synopsis of “iZombie” Season 2, episode 8 in a Comic Book Movie report teases that the next case Detective Babineaux and Liv will work on involves a wedding planner shot to death. Detective Babineaux is shocked to find out that the murder victim was a woman he used to date.

The progress on the murder case investigation will make things worse for Detective Babineaux. He becomes the prime suspect in the murder case because the victim was stalking him.

Liv and Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) will team up in “iZombie” Season 2, episode 8 in an attempt to help Detective Babineaux clear his name. The two medical examiners will pose as an engaged couple in order to gain access to the wedding planning business of the murder victim.

As for the Major-Liv relationship, the new episode’s synopsis and promo video tease that Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) will have a hard time dealing with Liv who becomes an obsessive stalker after eating the murder victim’s brains. “iZombie” cast member Robert Buckley explained in an interview with IGN that the previous episode titled “Abra Cadaver” has shown the effects of the magician’s brain in Liv and how it carries over into the Major-Liv relationship.

“That starts to become a big part of Liv’s personality to which Major is left wondering, ‘What the hell? What’s going on here?’” Buckley added. The former “One Tree Hill” and “Lipstick Jungle” actor further teased that the upcoming “iZombie” Season 2 episodes will continue to show some struggles in Major and Liv’s relationship.

“Now we’ve exited the honeymoon period and we’re going to get to deal with some of the reality of our relationship problems,” Buckley further teased. “iZombie” Season 2 will return from a short hiatus with episode 9 titled “The Hurt Stalker” on Tuesday night, Dec. 1, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
