“iZombie” Season 2, Episode 6 (“Max Wager”) ends with a sad note for Liv Moore (Rose McIver) and Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley). For a moment, they caught a break. But the odds are still against them. What happens next to the couple? The latest episode synopsis contains a clue.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “iZombie” Season 2 spoilers. Read on at your own risk if you have not seen the latest episodes. This article also contains some speculations and theories.

In the most recent “iZombie” episode, Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) has determined through an experiment involving different condom brands that Liv’s zombie-ness can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. This develops soon after Liv and Major reunited as an official couple. It seems the next new episode will show them break up (again).

“Major continues to distance himself from Liv,” reads a part of The CW synopsis of “iZombie” Season 2, Episode 7. Some viewers think this could be related to Ravi’s findings. It could also be about the ongoing FBI investigation on the missing persons case. (Check this out to read 'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 updates. Rose McIver played Tinker Bell in OUAT.)

In Episode 6, Major learns the FBI is looking into his case, except the agency has no idea he is the culprit in their investigation.

FBI agent Dale Bozzio (Jessica Harmon) seems to be a warm and friendly character, but at times she comes off as too good to be true. When things unravel, will Det. Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) be in Team FBI or Team Liv?

Meanwhile, a lot of viewers are happy to see Aly Michalka reprise her role as Peyton Charles. The showrunners have some stories planned for her, according to reports. It remains to be seen how she would deal with Liv’s new roomie (and daughter of Steven Weber’s Vaughn Du Clark), Gilda (Leanne Lapp).

The previous “iZombie” episode has revealed that Major is storing all the zombies he has supposedly killed in a chest freezer. Major’s latest “kill” is Angus DeBeers (Robert Knepper), father of Liv’s frenemy, Blaine (David Anders). It is difficult for many viewers to believe that they have seen the last of Blaine’s dad. Knepper is such a strong presence in the show. Anders is even more compelling in their scenes together. This makes the audience wonder: Will all the zombies wake up and go after Major?

“iZombie” Season 2, Episode 7 (“Abra Cadaver”) airs this week on CBS.
