Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “iZombie” Season 2 spoilers.

Comic Book reports that the CW Television Network has released the official synopsis and promo video of “iZombie” Season 2, episode 6. According to the synopsis of the new episode, Liv will unsuspectingly cross paths with Seattle’s most dangerous man while conducting a murder investigation.

The murder victim in the sixth episode’s new case is a degenerate gambler named Harry (Ray Galletti). Detective Babineaux will have a super-fan moment in the episode when he and Liv interrogate NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Owens (Rick Fox) while at Harry’s memorial service.

The father of Blaine DeBeers (David Anders) will make a huge discovery in “iZombie” Season 2, episode 6 while Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) will share some bad news. As for Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley), the synopsis teased that Liv’s ex-fiancé will continue to struggle.

Executive producer Rob Thomas teased about Liv’s storyline in “iZombie” Season 2, episode 6 in a Collider interview last October. “She’ll be on degenerate gambler brain and make brains casino. It’s silly, but we have fun in the writers’ room. We’ll be like, ‘What would a stalker eat?’” Thomas shared.

Thomas further explained during the interview that Liv’s creativity when it comes to what she eats the brains with is a modification for the lead character in the new season of CW’s crime horror-comedy drama series. When asked about the Liv-Major journey in the new season, Thomas teased that the fans will watch Major deal with keeping himself and Liv alive extensively.

Thomas revealed that the situation will be a moral crisis for Major and it will tear him apart because things are not getting any easier for him. However, the “iZombie” character will not just sit back and take everything throughout the new season.

As for the show’s future, Thomas admitted that the team behind “iZombie” is building towards a season with 22 episodes. “I think we’re going to get to do 22, so we’re breaking towards 22. If it’s a disaster, we’ll start thinking about 13, but I feel good. Thirteen is such a good number, but we’d still rather do 22,” Thomas shared.

“iZombie” Season 2 airs on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on the CW Network. “iZombie” Season 2, episode 6 titled “Max Wager” is scheduled to air on Nov. 10.
