Even as the Islamic State militants are fighting hard in Syria's Kobani or elsewhere, some of them still find time to share emotions and concerns with the public using the avenues in social media. One such example has been reported from Kobani wherein a Chechen militant, who is fighting for the Islamic State, is seeking to play the role of a "match maker" for the marital bliss of a junior militant fighting with him.

The message of "ISIS militant seeking bride" makes interesting reading, because the militant is not looking for a wife for himself. But he is searching for a life partner for his fellow fighter, who is a 15-year-old teenage Syrian boy. In a message posted on the Russian social net work "VKontakte" on Dec 13, the militant, identified as Adam Al-Almany makes a convincing marriage proposal. He is a Russian-speaking Chechen from Germany and operating under the group Katibat Al-Aqsa led by Chechens within the ISIS. The militant has tried to explain why he is seeking a bride for his 15-year-old colleague Abu Yusuf Ansary, whom he calls the youngest fighter in the group, reported Rferl News.

According to Almany, the teen militant Abu Yusuf Ansary, is a hero and has been a part of many important battles. "Despite his young age, Ansary participated in many well-known battles, such as the 17th Tank Division Base in Raqqa; the 121st Rocket Artillery Base in Hasaka; the 173rd Infantry Brigade in Raqqa; the Tabka Air Base and finally the battle in Kobani," Almany wrote.

Care Of A Wife

The elder militant said Abu Yusuf now needs the love and care of a Chechen wife after he sustained a head injury while fighting at Kobani. Hailing the young man's qualities, the senior militant said, "Ansary is a very modest and God-fearing brother". He further calls up his Chechen brethren that "all Arabs consider Caucasians as Chechens therefore we need a sister from the Caucasus." Asserting why the Chechens should oblige his request, Almany refers to the "Hadith", which is a bunch of teachings, deeds and sayings by Prophet Muhammad. "Let me remind you that hadith mandates giving your daughters in marriage to those whose temper and "iman" (faith) are satisfactory to you. Otherwise, there will be fitna (sedition) and vice in the world," the ISIS militant warned. The Chechen militant concluded his post with an earnest request. "If anyone has a sister or daughter who wants to get married, please send me a private message."

Drone Video

Meanwhile, the ISIS released a drone footage of the battle in Kobani, where it is battling local and Iraqi Kurds for the takeover of the town. The video showed many sites where the radical sunni group has committed suicide bombings. The footage, released in the second week of December, has zoomed aerial shots of the war torn city, where Kurdish forces, backed by air strikes from the U.S. and allies are trying to push back the ISIS, reported the Independent.
