The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus which just made its in entry the market have already started generating big revenue for Apple. The new set of devices can be considered as the fastest-selling smartphone duo of all time.

Just recently we have reported speculations about the release of the iPhone 7 which is expected to hit the market by 2016. But now hold and behold, a new render of iPhone was presented which will take Apple fans and consumers to a higher level. Designer Steel Drake presented the iPhone 8 and how it could possibly look like.

Drake showed the most recent iPhone render on Behance which relatively looks like the iPhone 6 but with an added futuristic approach. The iPhone 8 as presented will have a two-tone colour design.

The concept of the iPhone 8 shows a unibody smartphone case made from a single piece of glass that goes from front and back of the iPhone and also covers from top to bottom of the new device. Completing the body are aluminum inserts that serves as home for buttons and antennas. Such concept is something outside the realms of 2014 but is projected to be possible in five years time, BGR reports.

Drake's vision of the iPhone 8 could definitely make avid fans forget 2015's newer version of the iPhone 6 or the rumoured 2016 release of the iPhone 7. The speculated 2019 release of the iPhone 8 can't get here soon enough.

Since this is just the graphic designer's vision of the exterior of the phone the only thing missing is the specs and other details that will run under its amazing hood. But knowing how Apple works, it is expected that the iPhone 8 will boast lots of impressive specs and features.

Based on Cult of Mac's take on Drakes' iPhone 8 concept, the curved glass edges that cover the phone from top to bottom and the camera lens which are not protruding plus the smoother antenna lines are something to like about. However, the glass that doesn't transition well to the metal is a minus. Some spectators also hope to make it a bit slimmer so it can be held easier.

Finally, the concept on how the iPhone 8 might look like is not far from impossible and is something attainable especially with the technology and expertise of Apple. But before fans get too excited with the futuristic idea, it would be safe to wait for next year's updates about the iPhone 6 but it isn't bad to crave for something way more advanced.
