Starting Sept. 25, Apple’s latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will finally reach markets worldwide. The new smartphones will be available in the U.S from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.

Both models will also be available in Australia, China, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Puerto Rico and the UK. Exclusive Apple Stores and select authorised Apple Resellers will also sell the phones. Apple could soon announce additional carriers, as well.

The new iPhones with the revolutionary 3D Touch will be available in Gold, Silver, Space Gray and the new Rose Gold colour variants, said Apple in a press release. Buyers can drop in and select their carriers at exclusive Apple retail stores.

Apple Stores will offer both iPhones for walk-in customers with prior reservations in select countries such as China, Hong Kong, Japan and tax-free states of the U.S.

Buyers in the U.S. can select their carrier to get hold of an unlocked iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus with the strongest glass screen and a 7000 series aluminium casing at $0 down at US$27 and US$31, respectively, with 24 monthly payments. Stores will start selling the latest iPhones powered by the advanced A9 chip from 8 a.m. local time.

“Customer response to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has been incredibly positive, we can't wait to get our most advanced iPhones ever into customers’ hands starting this Friday,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing.

“iOS 9 is also off to an amazing start, on pace to be downloaded by more users than any other software release in Apple’s history”.

Buyers can also get an iPhone annually through the iPhone Upgrade Program at US$32 and US$37, respectively. They can also avail of Apple designed accessories like colour coordinated lighting docks and silicone and leather cases in a variety of colours.

Customers purchasing iPhones from Apple Retail Stores will be assisted when customising and setting up their devices. From Sept. 26, customers can visit Apple.com to “reserve their iPhone for pick-up at their local Apple Store”.

Last week, the Cupertino-based tech giant claimed the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus pre-orders already surpassed last year’s record. The iPhones features Live Photos; a 12 megapixel iSight camera and 5 megapixel FaceTime HD camera with Retina Flash.

Apple claims the new iPhone duo is the best iPhones ever with the “world’s most advanced mobile operating system” on board.
