Six months before the rumoured release of Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6, various concept images hinted that the two devices will sport similar designs.

In the height of the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 pre-orders and sales, myriad of renders on the upcoming iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 emerged online.

One of the notable similarities is the infinite, wrap-around display in some concepts. The screen displays are speculated to be flexible. Other renders also hinted that both will pack the same specs and features. Meanwhile, Samsung will ditch the plastic casing with aluminium body, according to reports.

Both devices are expected to arrive on the first quarter of 2014. The Samsung Galaxy S5 release date may be in March. This is most likely to happen since the Galaxy S4 was released last March.

According to rumours, Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack a larger screen display with Sharp's new IGZO screen technology and 4K screen resolution that is beyond Full HD. Other specs include 16 MP back camera and Android 4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy S5 will also come with the faster 64-bit processor that is reported to be on the last stages of production.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 is also expected to be released in March 2014 and it is speculated to be Apple's own version of phablet and will boast features such as a 5-inch Full HD screen display; 64-bit A7 processor and M7 GPU chip. Other features are NFC; fingerprint sensor; internal storage of up to 128GB and iOS 7.
