iPhone 5 is welcomed by raves and rants in social networks. After much anticipation, the specs of "the biggest thing to happen to iPhone" have been out, and news watchers have promptly noticed that rumours have had the features spot on. iPhone 5 indeed boasts of a larger 4 inch screen, 4G LTE and an upgraded chipset, among others.

@ tartanspartan7: Gotta admit, I'm not overwhelmed with the iPhone 5. Apart from a stretched out screen, a gimmicky camera mode, and the predictable stuff (bigger, faster, thinner, etc.), they brought nothing new to the table. The omission of NFC is a big mistake. I still want one though :-)

Apple describes the iPhone 5 as "the biggest thing to happen to iPhone since the iPhone." But as usual, not everyone is impressed.

Many users are disappointed over the lack of mind-blowing surprise from Apple, especially since the competition is going strong. But there are others who are happy about the not-so-drastic changes going on with the iPhone.
