iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 have a very obvious difference in screen resolution. Despite both devices having a large screen, some consumers could not decide which is better between the two.

iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 are both manufactured by Apple, but the devices have different specifications and accessories support like Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil or stylus.

The iPad Air is a clear winner when it comes to price. It comes in three models, 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB, with a price tag of US$499 (AU$569), US$599 (AU$629), respectively. Along with the device, Apple offers the option of cellular connection which will cost customers an extra AU$130.

Although similar to the iPad Air, the iPad Pro can be more expensive. It comes in three models: 32 GB with Wi-Fi, 128 GB with Wi-Fi and 128 GB with Wi-Fi plus Cellular. According to the Apple website, the three variations come with price tags of US$799 (AU$1,249), US$949 (AU$1,499), and US$1,079 (AU$1,699), respectively. Apple currently does not offer a 32 GB iPad Pro model with both Wi-Fi + Cellular connectivity. The devices are available in silver and space grey.

Both iPad models feature a large screen. The iPad Pro screen measures 12.9 inches, while the iPad Air 2 features a 9.7-inch screen. Both devices have the same pixel density of 264ppi. iPad Pro boasts a 2732 x 2048 pixels of screen resolution, while the iPad Air 2 delivers only 2048 x 1536 pixels.

iPad Air2 is a good choice for Christmas shoppers who want to make practical choices. For more powerful specs though, the iPad Pro is the better choice.
