GTA 5 upcoming DLCs confirmed

Even before the game has been launched, developer Rockstar Games has already confirmed that the latest installment of the crime game Grand Theft Auto 5 will be receiving DLCs.

But, according to TechDigest, the developer has also cautioned gamers against buying international versions of the game, as compatibility may become an issue once the expansion content rolls out.

As an example, the report cites that there are different versions of the PS3 game that can easily work with the European PlayStation console, such as the Japanese PS3 GTA 5 or the PS3 GTA 5 North American version.

But come the downloadable pack, those who are in the European territory will only have access to the European PSN store that they would obviously have created, which means that if they have another version like the North American or the Japanese one, then it may pose as a problem when you need to redeem preorder codes.

There have been no details unveiled yet when regarding the DLC, but come August 15, the much-awaited multiplayer gameplay trailer will be revealed, so that's something to look forward to.

More DLC to expect for Elder Scrolls Online

Fans of the hit game Skyrim rejoiced when they heard that there was an Elder Scrolls Online in development. Though developer Zenimax Online has already stated that it will be an entirely different game from what fans have been used to, this doesn't mean that the same fanbase won't be able to enjoy the experience.

In an exclusive interview with Shacknews, Zenimax Online revealed that it already has plans for one specific aspect of the game: its expansion packs.

"I'm a big proponent personally of making sure we keep a high frequency of content releases. A big part of our plans is the future of the game," said creative director Paul Sage to Shacknews. "I know that players are amazing in their ability to chew through content quickly, so we want to make sure there is a constant stream of goodies coming to them."

According to Sage, the main story line of Elder Scrolls Online is already definite, but that doesn't mean it can't be used as a jumping board for more adventures as more DLCs are added once the main game ends.

As the expansions roll out however, Sage adds that they are trying to make use of beta testing in order to see if their ideas work with the market and to see just what the players really enjoy, which means that beta tests of new content may be rolled out befor the actual product.

With more expansion packs and additions slated for the game, Skyrim fans may be looking at a similar game that will deliver a whole new experience. Elder Scrolls Online is slated for release on the next-gen consoles Xbox One and PS4, the PC, and Mac, though release dates are yet to be announced
