Rainstorms wreaks havoc across a town in eastern Indonesia, Wednesday, slaughtering four people including a nine-year-old child, and leaving 10 others missing.

According to Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman for India' National Disaster Mitigation, floods carrying volcanic debris plagued through 11 villages in Ternate City in North Maluku province where 15 people left injured.

Two rivers on the eastern side of the volcano overflowed after hefty rains carried volcanic mud and debris down to the affected residential areas, Nugroho added. Two bridges and 15 homes were completely dilapidated by the storm, while 173 other homes were damaged rendering 53 familes or 284 people evacuated to government offices and schools.

The Indonesian archipelago has dozens of active volcanoes. The country's most active volcano, Mount Merapi in central Java, killed more than 350 people in a series of violent eruptions in 2010. Now, it's the storm rampaged the town.

The whole town were filled now with mournings and griefs as they witnessed how the flood scourged their homes, farms, streets and innocent lives. They were left a big question.How will they start again.
