The Oscar Buzz may be on high with the event set to start just a few hours from now. Yet, other independent awards still continue in the hopes of increasing the stars' chances of winning the iconic golden statue. The Independent Spirit Awards are taking place at the moment with a lot of Hollywood celebrities in attendance of which include Oscar Award nominees, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.

Held at Santa Monica Beach, the Independent Spirit Awards take notice of the indie films that prove to be equally amazing as blockbuster hits. At the red carpet, "Silver Linings Playbook" stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper grabbed quite the attention. Bradley Cooper opted for the light grey suit while Lawrence stunned in a knee-length black gown showing off her bare back and side boobs.

"Perks of Being a Wallflower" star, Nina Dobrev was also present. The "Vampire Diaries" star kept her look casual with a white shirt paired off with boy shorts embellished with a gold belt. Nina's beau, Ian Somerhalder, was nowhere to be seen. "Harry Potter" star, Daniel Radcliffe and "Magic Mike's" Matthew McConaughey were also in attendance. Bradley Cooper's rumoured ex-girlfriend, Zoe Saldana, was also present at the red carpet. Bruce Willis, Helen Hunt and Tyler Hoechlin were also spotted at the event.
