Google announced an interesting update for its Inbox email app. Now Inbox users can avail an updated “Snooze” option. Whenever the users “Snooze” an email which has specific dates and times, they will be getting an option to snooze to a specific time in future. For instance, the user can “Snooze” an event confirmation or shipping notification email until the day of the event or arrival of the consignment.

Few months back Inbox by Gmail started supporting Snooze. It enables the users to customize morning, afternoon and evening ‘Snooze’ times. The users need to just open the app, slide left on an email and tap ‘Pick date & time’ to select the time as reported by 9to5Google. The earlier process was more manual. The improved version gives the users a one-tap choice to snooze to exactly at the appropriate time. The latest update has been announced in a post on the official Gmail Blog. Now, in the updated version when the user slide left of any email, a new option at the bottom of the email will allow the user to “Snooze” at a particular time. This will save time for selecting the time and date. Inbox will automatically adapt to the users preferences and is a blessing for forgetful people. This new feature of Inbox by Gmail will be applicable to emails containing package tracking updates, restaurant and event reservations, calendar invites, flight confirmations, hotel reservations and rental car reservations.

Inbox by Gmail is open to each and every one with a Gmail address and all messages are synced with the Inbox. It is a new way to stay organised. The newest updated option of “Snooze” can be enjoyed by downloading the latest version of Inbox from Google Play Store.
