Actor Robert Pattinson may not be active in social media but the "Twilight" star was able to hear about his nomination in the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge." The 28-year-old English actor accepted Zac Efron's nomination and completed the challenge where he improvised because it happened on short notice.

The brief video begins with Robert Pattinson thanking actor Zac Efron for nominating him to do the "Ice Bucket Challenge." Then, the English actor explained that he had to improvise his challenge because he was not able to find a bucket on short notice.

Pattinson's friends helped him out. One friend poured ice on the actor's head using a sauce pan while the other friend blasted him with water from a garden hose.

After getting drenched, Robert Pattinson nominated "Iron Man 3" star Guy Pearce, "Maps to the Stars" co-star Mia Wasikowska and Marilyn Manson to do the "ASL Ice Bucket Challenge." However, Pattinson's friends continued to hose down the actor and throw stuff at him like ice and red cup while he was making his nominations.

Since Robert Pattinson is not active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the actor asked "Neighbors" actor Zac Efron to do the sharing of his "Ice Bucket Challenge" video. "I don't have an Instagram so you're going to have to deal with this," Pattinson stated in the video.

On his YouTube channel, Zac Efron did share Robert Pattinson's video on Wednesday, Aug. 20, explaining that he was asked to share to video because the "Twilight" actor is not on social media. "So he asked me to post his Ice Bucket Challenge for ALSA.org. #StrikeOutALS," the 26-year-old "The Lucky One" star further wrote as a description to the shared video.

At the moment, the video has already garnered over one million views on YouTube. According to MTV News, Robert Pattinson may have broken the "Ice Bucket Challenge" rules with the use of a sauce pan and hose instead of a bucket in the challenge.

However, the actor's charm and wet white T-shirt can make the viewers forget that he bent the rules a little bit. Robert Pattinson joined fellow English actor Tom Hiddleston in doing the "Ice Bucket Challenge" wearing a white shirt.

According to a Just Jared report, Tom Hiddleston's video did not disappoint the viewers because of the white shirt that became see-through after the "Thor" actor got drenched.
