"Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder recently shared on Instagram an adorable image that features his girlfriend Nikki Reed and two pet dogs. The 35-year-old heartthrob actor further revealed on his social media post why he is head over heels in love with the "Twilight" actress.
According to an E!Online report, Ian Somerhalder shared the image to his millions of fans and followers to celebrate the birthday of his pet dogy Neitczhe, promote pet adoption and praise Nikki Reed for her work. The TVD cast member posted a lengthy caption to the image which started off with the revelation that he is going to spend the day with three of the most beautiful ladies in the universe. "Congrats to our little Neitczhe here-1 year ago today, to the minute, you brought 5 beautiful puppies into this world-thank you for your amazing contribution to all of our lives," the actor wrote on his Instagram account iansomerhalder.

Ian and Nikki, 26, let the public know about their romantic relationship back in July when they stepped out together looking cozy at a farmers market in Los Angeles, California.
