'Hush Hush' Movie Casting: Celebrity Favorites for the Lead Roles [PHOTOS]
Book to film adaptations are highly popular this year. With notable titles such as "The Mortal Instruments" and "Divergent" set for their film adaptations' release, another book in the works for a big movie is "Hush Hush." Speculation for a cast has already begun and here are fan favourites that have made it big on countless web polls.
The era of "Twilight" and "Harry Potter" may be over but that doesn't mean other book to film adaptations won't do any better. With over a hundred books to last a lifetime in the Hollywood film industry, another hyped novel series making waves nowadays is Becca Fitzpatrick's' "Hush Hush."
Vampires and wizards are certainly a thing of the past because this book talks more of otherworldly creatures called fallen angels also known as Nephilims. Like Suzanne Collins best-selling post-apocalyptic novel, "The Hunger Games", "Hush Hush" is also set for a film adaptation.
"Hush Hush" quite resembles the up and coming film adaptation of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" based on the novels by Cassandra Clare. For those who haven't heard of the books yet, the synopsis is as follows.
"Hush, Hush follows Nora Grey, a 16-year-old who catches the attention of Patch, her gorgeous, yet enigmatic biology partner. When she starts experiencing mysterious hallucinations, Nora learns that she's at the center of an age-old conflict that reaches the heavens itself."
"Patch is fallen angel desperate to be human again, but that humanity could come at the cost of Nora's life. Will he sacrifice Nora to save himself?"
Given the final instalment of the series, "Finale" has been released, the movie deal is all that's Becca Fitzpatrick is focused on.
"It's a big month for me. I'm just trying to handle one thing at a time," exclaimed Fitzpatrick, adding, "It's been in the works for almost a year. When I'm writing, I see it very visually in my head, so I feel it will be very easy to adapt."
A movie would obviously of course call for casting calls. However, casting for the film might take a bit long. Yet, fans of "Hush Hush" have already covered half the job with their potential stars for the film.
