While fans are in a rage about Director Gary Ross's' decision to abandon ship, a few are working on the possibilities of who could play their favorite lead roles in the sequels of Suzanne Collins best-selling novels.

District 4's Finnick Odair and District 7's Johanna Mason are two of the main leads that have sparked fan debates all over the web. Now it's time to rally up a few worthy Hollywood actresses who could play Odair's love interest, Annie Cresta in "Mockingjay".

An accidental victor from District 4, Annie Cresta is described as a lovely woman in her 20's with dark jade eyes and dark flowing hair. In the book, Katniss Everdeen described her as "lovely if somewhat bedraggled" given she's said to be slightly deranged and psychotic. No one can blame her for her "bedraggled" behavior basing it all on what she had to go through in the "Hunger Games."

With a lot of stunning actresses in Hollywood, who can act out the timid and crazy, Annie Cresta of District 4?

First of is the Houston, Texas native, Alexis Bledel. Alexis has the perfect mix of lovely looks and a timid personality which resembles that of Annie Cresta but the question is can she act crazy? Her acting stints include the television series, "Gilmore Girls" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants".

Another dark-haired beauty that may fit the role is Brazilian brunette, Camilla Belle. She's known for the films "When a Stranger Calls" and "10,000 BC". England native, Emilia Clarke also fits the description of a lovely dark-haired Annie Cresta. Though she may flaunt ash-blonde hair on HBO's original series "Game of Thrones", Emilia is a classic brunette beauty whose face reflects just the right amount of timid.

Anne Hathaway's name has also appeared in a few polls but taking into consideration her age, she'd be too old to play Annie Cresta. Actresses who can belt out a tune such as Emmy Rossum of "Phantom of the Opera" and "Gossip Girls'" Leighton Meester also take a spot in the choice of actresses to play Cresta. Surprisingly even former Disney princess, Selena Gomez makes it to the fan polls but at 19-years old and with a baby-face, she's quite young to play Annie.

A few blonde actresses also made it to the fan-made polls of which are Evan Rachel Wood, Australian actress, Isabel Lucas and the famous Olsen sibling, Elizabeth Olsen. Hair color may be the least of the concern for these three on a note that Jennifer Lawrence who was a natural blonde had dyed her hair brown for the role of Katniss Everdeen.

"Mockingjay" may be two years away before it hits the big screen and who knows who among the Hollywood actresses might get to play Annie Cresta. For now all fans can do is rely on their imagination and in the mean time cross their fingers for a worthy director for "Catching Fire".
