Directed by Francis Lawrence, the upcoming science fiction film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" is going to be hitting theatres this year on Nov. 21. Known for his role as Finnick Odair, Sam Claflin was recently interviewed by Extra and he revealed some juicy details about the third installment of the film.

The British actor stopped by Universal Studios Hollywood and said that everything went smoothly with the film but doesn't want to give out anything to ruin the fans' anticipation. "I want to tell you everything, that's the worst part," Claflin said during the interview with Extra's Renee Bargh. "All I can say is that it's going very well and looks amazing."

Written by Danny Strong, the first of the two-part movie began filming on Sept. 23 in Atlanta and wrapped its production on April 18. Based on a best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" landed on top of Fandango's list of most-anticipated films for 2014.

"The sets are incredible and the costumes are insane," Claflin added. "I'm thinking about it and I'm smiling. There's a lot more to come."

After filming in Atlanta, the cast and crew started shooting its battle scenes in Paris and at Berlin Templehof Airport in Berlin. According to reports on Mockingjay.net, there are about 1,000 extras are required to shot the scenes and based on actress Natalie Dormer the film's locations will be rotated for the part two of the film.

"Mockingjay" plot summary reads: In "Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2," we follow heroine Katniss Everdeen's journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne. Julianne Moore will return as President Alma Coin, Donald Sutherland as President Coriolanus Snow, Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen and Natalie Dormer as Cressida.
