The "Hunger Games"-inspired fashion line, Capitol Couture, is about to become real. The said clothing line that features all the crazy colours and styles of the Capitol from Suzanne Collins' best-selling post-apocalyptic novel is set to hit the web. The film series costume designer, Trish Summerville, is spearheading the clothing line which will be launched this fall.

For those who wish to look like residents of the Capitol or share the same fashion sense as their favourite tributes from the Districts, it'll be easier with the much-awaited release of "Capital Couture by Trish Summerville." The 16-piece RTW collection features designs by Summerville that have or will resemble those in the films, "Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire." Jewellery and leather goods will also be featured in the fall collection in Net-a-Porter.

With all the craze on the Capitol fashion, what convinced the director for the collaboration?

"When we were approached by Lionsgate [the film's production company] to offer the collection by Trish Summerville to our customers exclusively, we jumped at the chance. Our customers take their style cues from myriad sources, from the latest runway shows and street trends to TV and film. Fashion plays an important role in The Hunger Games series and is especially prevalent in Catching Fire, and fans of the franchise will see the film reference in the collection. This is also brilliant fashion in its own right, and we're delighted to provide our customers with the chance to purchase limited-edition pieces designed by one of the most original costume designers in the industry today," explained Net-a-Porter's Fashion Director, Holli Rogers.

As for Summerville, this is the perfect chance to showcase her wild creations inspired by Suzanne Collins novels.

"I am extremely proud of the designs that we created for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and there's no partner more appropriate for 'Capitol Couture' than the world's most cutting-edge luxury retailer," said Summerville, adding, "I can't wait to share it with the public through this exclusive partnership with Lionsgate and NET-A-PORTER."
