Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan made the rounds of wrestling news after proclaiming that he is hitting the gym hard at a shot to be slotted into the Wrestlemania 31 matches scheduled Mar. 29, 2015, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The man who made come from behind wins a spectacle reveals that despite his age, his body feels it can still take one last go at the famed ring.

The 61-year-old fighter made the pronouncement through Turnbuckle Weekly as he delved on several topics including his regimen to keep his body ready for the event, what would happen if John Cena turned heel, his experience just when he joined the New World Order as a villain, and his potential opponents at the upcoming pay-per-view event. The leader of Hulkamania cleared his preferred competitors given the earlier speculation that if ever he is allowed by Vince McMahon and Triple H to headline the event he would be facing Sting.

"[John] Cena would be the guy I'd love to get in the ring with, you know, if I could irritate Stone Cold so much he'd come out of retirement, I'd love to have him open a can of whoop a** on me and see what happens," the Hulkster told the news magazine.

The possibility that Hogan is still in tip top shape to in any way shape or form receive a flying elbow or DDT from any of the said wrestler is amazing. It was a just a few year back when reports poured in that he would be wheelchair-bound after nine back surgeries. Now it is up to Hogan to convince the top WWE executives to let him play at the biggest stage. Cena or Steve Austin will be great prospect for the Hulkster but fans have been clamouring for a Sting retirement match that was downplayed by Hogan.

The former world heavyweight champion added that he has been hearing from sources that the outfit is pushing for the Undertaker and Sting match-up more than the Hogan-Sting pairing. He said that his gut feel tells him that the audience will get a dose of "Stinger Splashes" at Wrestlemania 31.
