In January this year, Huawei introduced two fresh models of the Huawei watch especially for women. The new Huawei Watch Elegant and Watch Jewel have similar hardware specs to that of the Huawei Watch.

The artistically designed Watch Elegant and Jewel has finally landed on the U.S. shores. Both the smartwatches are offered by online retailers like Best Buy, Newegg and B&H Photo.

On B&H Photo, the new Huawei Watch Jewel will be available for pre-order from May 3. The retailer has listed the 44mm smartwatch with Rose Gold stainless steel band at US$599 (AU$789).

Meantime, Newegg has already started taking pre-orders for Huawei Watch Elegant with Italian leather strap for US$450 (AU$592). The online retailer is selling the Huawei Watch Jewel with Sapphire Blue leather band at US$550 (AU$723). Newegg will start shipping the Android wear smartwatches from May 3, 2016.

Both the Huawei Watch Elegant and Jewel are crafted with 316L cold-forged stainless steel . Sporting scratch resistant two-lawyer Sapphire crystal, both the models feature similar hardware specifications under the hood.

The Huawei Watch Elegant has a distinctive ring design on the façade with a rose gold plated body. Huawei collaborated with Swarovski to decorate the Huawei Watch Jewel with Zirconia jewels encircling the bezel.

The Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution. Huawei’s smartwatch runs on the latest Android Wear operating system.

There is traditional physical crown mounted in a “2 o'clock” position.

Powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, the Huawei Watch is shipped with a 300 mAh battery, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. The Huawei Watch can also be paired with an iPhone.

The Huawei Watch has built-in fitness tracking and heart rate monitoring sensors. The wearable device supports Google Now voice control . However, the Android wear device does not support any mobile payment system.
