A report by GizmoChina states that Huawei is working on a hybrid laptop PC which can boot two operating systems. This means the device can be used as a standard laptop as well as a tablet with a detachable keyboard. The report also specifies that the hybrid PC will be able to run on both Android OS with EMUI top as well as Windows 10.

According to GSM Arena, the laptop hybrid will also be accompanied by a stylus to offer wider functionality to users . Many details on the hardware specifications are unavailable now. However, Huawei may team up with Intel to power its first laptop.

Although there isn’t any specific time frame, the industry speculates that the dual OS laptop hybrid by Huawei may hit the market sometime in 2016. The device may prove to be tough competitor against Microsoft’s Surface lineup in the 2-in-1 market.
