The giant retailer is selling the HTC One M8 through a two-year contract with Verizon for just US$30 or through the carrier's early upgrade Edge program. The latest offer is US$170 less than the phone's usual contract price which is at US$199.99 original cost, Business Insider reports.

Currently, Best Buy is selling the 32GB LTE M8 in gold, silver and gray variants. This top class smartphone from HTC which was dubbed to be one of the best Androids ever released has been receiving high remarks from critics and consumers. It is one of the fewer phones which can rival the tasteful design of the iPhone, just like its predecessor.

The HTC One M8 stands on Android 4.4 KitKat platform and is impressively equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor plus 2GB of RAM which allows the device to deliver a stunning over-all performance. The device also has 32GB internal phone memory plus a microSD slot expandable up to 128GB for more storage space.

In addition, the M8 also brings forth a beautifully designed 5" Full HD display built into a metal unibody which is made of durable, high-quality metal with thinner edges and softer curves for a better grip. It also has HTC's UltraPixel Duo Camera with dual flash, a 5MP front camera and is equipped with HTC's BoomSound dual frontal stereo speakers.

Based on Best Buy's website, buyers will receive a free US$150 Best Buy gift card once they purchase any Verizon smartphone with a new 2-year contract or Edge activation. If customers get to buy another phone from Best Buy they will be given the gift card though it is still unclear if they can make use of the card on the new phone purchase.

Verizon users and other interested Android consumers might find Best Buy's an excellent deal. Meanwhile, for consumers who don't want to take the plunge of getting into a contract, they can still purchase the device for US749.99 outright cost.
