HTC's roll out of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been pushed once more with the current delay the third time around. Last week, HTC claimed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its HTC One M8 Google Play Edition will be released earlier in the week but it did not materialize with reports hinting it to be Friday. That did not go through as well with a new release date instead.

HTC's VP of Product Management, Mo Versi, announced via Twitter what has been happening with the firmware. A follower asked whether the update will be released any time with Versi responding that HTC "submitted the SW on Monday and were [HTC] informed today we need to re-spin SW." The company did not provide additional details when the roll out will happen.

Similar to other Android updates in the past, HTC will release the firmware in stages. Some people may need to wait for the notification while others may need to confirm with their carriers. Availability of the update may depend on the location and network provider. People can also check the system manually. Users only need to go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check now.

Week In Review (via GSM Arena) also provided a recap of a number of announcements in tech with Nokia revealing their plans for the NI tablet. Likewise, Android 5.0 Lollipop updates have been leaked for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One M8. SamMobile, in an exclusive report, posted a video showing the Galaxy Note 3 running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. People can see how the Samsung's new TouchWiz UI appears similarly to what people have been using since the past year. Likewise, the UI also appears similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 running on the Lollipop.
