HTC will soon be releasing its flagship smartphone, which the rumour mill has dubbed the HTC One M10, and the device is expected to come with improved features that will fix all the issues that were associated with its predecessor, the HTC One M9.

The Taiwanese company had announced a number of budget smartphones at the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event, but was clear that after surveying the smartphone market, it would deliver a more compelling camera experience for its users, BGR reported.

The HTC One M9, which features a 20 MP camera, has been criticised for its photography quality in the past. Now, speculations claim the HTC One M10 will be arriving with a 12 MP camera that will be equipped with HTC’s UltraPixel technology. It is also expected to be available with features like laser autofocus and OIS.

At the same time, the HTC One series currently does not feature a smartphone with Quad HD display -- the HTC One M9 has a 5-inch full HD screen. However, its successor is expected to come with a 5.1-inch or 5.2-inch Quad HD screen that supports a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The new HTC flagship could also come with better storage options to the current One series' 32 GB of storage. The One M10, also codenamed HTC Perfume, is believed to be coming with multiple storage options, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, and will be powered by Snapdragon 820 assisted by 4 GB of RAM.

HTC One M10 is also expected to sport a new distinguishing aesthetic as compared to its predecessor. Speculations suggest that it will come with a premium design that will based on the HTC One A9 midrange smartphone.

Leaked photos of the HTC One M10 have suggested that its chassis will be coming with chamfered edges. The talk around town is that it will also house a fingerprint sensor under its physical Home button.
