HTC will be giving a treat to the consumers who purchase the HTC One M9 smartphone from Aug. 24-31, 2015. The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer’s current promo grants $100 worth of Google Play Store credit to the consumers who bought the Android device from HTC.com.

TechnoBuffalo reports that the consumers who are granted $100 Google Play Store credit can spend it on games, apps, movies and music. The consumers who purchased the HTC One M9 before the Aug. 31 deadline are required to keep a copy of the receipt because they will submit it at http://HTCGooglePlayPromo.com along with their contact information and their phone’s IMEI number in order to receive the $100 Google Play Store credit.

Meanwhile, PhoneDog reports that the HTC One M9 smartphone will come with the Uh-Oh Protection. The plan will give the new owners of the Android device a free replacement if their HTC One M9 suffered cracked screens or water damage within the first year of ownership.

Verizon’s logo on the source page implies that the U.S. telecommunications company is the exclusive carrier of the HTC deal. However, it is not declared in HTC’s fine print that the promo is not available to unlocked buyers or customers who purchase for other carriers so it is recommended that they should give it a try.

The HTC One M9 smartphone has a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and HTC Sense UI 7.0. The HTC device is packed with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and 2 GHz quad-core 2 Cortex-A57, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, 3GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU.

The HTC One M9 smartphone’s other features and specs include a 20MP primary camera, 4MP secondary camera, internal storage capacity of 32GB with a microSD card slot that can store files up to 128GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, infrared port, microUSB v2.0, Quick Charge 2.0, 100GB cloud storage on Google Drive and the non-removable Li-Po 2840 mAh battery. Consumers can choose from the available HTC One M9 colour choices of Silver/Rose gold, Gunmetal Gray, Gold/Pink and Amber Gold.
