HTC is going to add another handset to its midrange Desire lineup. New leaks of the unannounced HTC Desire 626 have cropped up with @upleaks. The news of the Desire 626 has arrived amidst the time when HTC fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of HTC One M8 successor, the HTC One M9 – the 2015 flagship from the Taiwanese tech giant. The HTC flagship is probably going to unveil during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 but alongside it the Desire 626 may also get revealed.

According to @upleaks, the HTC Desire 626 codenamed as A32 is a midrange device that sports a 5-inch screen that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. GSM Arena claims that HTC will be rolling out two variants of Desire 626.

The former Desire 626 will be loaded with a MediaTek MT6752 SoC that comprises of an octa-core processor that delivers a clocking time of 1.7 GHz. It is couple by 2 GB RAM. The other Desire 2626 will be powered by Snapdragon 410 SoC that will be supported by 1 GB of RAM.

The internal storage of the device is 16 GB. As of this writing, there is no information on the external storage support. Both the editions of the Desire 626 will feature a 13 MP primary camera along with a 5 MP selfie camera. According to the leaked images of the handset, the device does not feature LED flash for camera.

The HTC Desire 626 will come loaded with Android v4.4 KitKat. The OS is overlaid with HTC’s own Sense UI software. GSM Arena adds that the handset will receive a Lollipop update in the near future. The device is packed with 2,000 mAh battery.

HTC has not released any official information on the speculated Desire 626 handset. Hence, other details like pricing and availability are not known yet. The HTC Desire 626 is expected to be showcased at the MWC 2015 expo.
