Both also have HP trademarks like the front-firing speakers that features HD Audio with DTS Studio Sound and HP Noise Reduction Software which will aid in making web-conferences more productive with quality videos and sounds.

Both the standard and the special edition passed the MIL-STD 810G military-grade testing, both are powered with Intel Core-M processors, SSD's, a fanless design and a battery which can withstand up to 9 long hours of performance. Holding true to its business nature, the notebooks also brag about its security features which include a fingerprint reader, HP's Sure Start self-healing BIOS and pre-boot authentication. In addition, it also has the HP Client Management Solutions and options for Intel vPro and LANDesk which all aim for easy integration into an enterprise IT environment.

According to PCWorld, the Elitebooks are packed with a selection of security and support options to give owners extra protection. HP made sure that the new line-up has the standard security features for all corporate notebooks. However, HP refused to reveal two vital information: the costs and the CPU selection (besides the inclusion of the latest Intel Core chips).
