LG Optimus G E975 owners can now update their handset to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS using the manual update from CyanogenMod 10.2. Aside from Android 4.3, CyanogenMod 10.2 offers the most featured rich and customised ROM which includes customisation options and bloatware free system.

Requirements:

- LG Optimus G E975. Do not attempt to flash this custom ROM to any other device or suffer unforeseen consequences.

- Make sure to create a backup of all personal settings, information and data files.

- The battery level must be at least 50 per cent to avoid power interruption during the installation.

- Enable USB debugging mode. Go to "Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging mode."

- Root the device and install ClockworkMod recovery.

- Install the necessary USB drivers for your device.

- Download the CyanogenMod 10.2 Android 4.3 custom ROM and the Google Apps package to your computer.

Warning: CyanogenMod 10.2 is a custom ROM which may damage your device. We are not responsible for any damages that could occur on your LG phone. Read, understand and follow the instructions carefully to prevent damaging your handset. Do this at your own risk.

Flashing Instructions:

1. Connect the LG Optimus G E975 to your computer using a USB cable.

2. Copy the CyanogenMod 10.2 and the Google Apps package you have downloaded and paste them to the SD card of the handset. Do not extract any of the files.

3. Download the Quick Boot application from the Google Play Store.

4. Disconnect your phone and reboot into recovery mode using the Quick Boot app.

5. Inside the recovery mode, create a Nandroid backup of the current ROM. Select "backup and restore > backup." You can restore the saved ROM anytime you desire.

6. Now perform a full wipe on your device. Select "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition." Then select "advanced > wipe Dalvik cache."

7. Install the CyanogenMod 10.2 custom ROM. Select "install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD card > select the CyanogenMod 10.2 firmware you have copied earlier > confirm installation." Apply the same with the Google Apps package.

8. After the installation, go back to the main menu then select "reboot system now."

Well done! Your LG Optimus G E975 is now running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with CyanogenMod 10.2.
