"True Blood" star Anna Camp joins the "How I Met Your Mother" gang. The 30-year-old actress recently shared on Twitter a pic of the "HIMYM" set filming for the upcoming Season 9. Ms Camp will portray the character Cassie, a guest at Barney and Robin's wedding, with speculations that she will catch Ted Mosby's eye first before he ends up with 'The Mother.'

"Working it out on the set #HIMYM #finalseason!" Anna Camp excitedly wrote on her Twitter account @TheRealAnnaCamp as a caption to the shared Instagram photo of the "How I Met Your Mother" set. The character Cassie is described as "one of the most attractive and available" guest in the wedding.

Ms Camp's character has been signed on for one episode where she is anticipated to have a "brief dating encounter" with Ted Mosby. However, the actress could re-appear in the hit CBS sitcom if her character's storyline will be extended.

Additionally, more details on the final season of "How I Met Your Mother" were starting to appear as the premiere date approaches. In the hour-long Season 9 premiere with episodes "The Locket" and "Coming Back," the group heads to Long Island to attend Barney and Robin's wedding.

A released promo video showed couple Barney and Robin seated in the back of the car claiming that someone will most likely ruin their special day. On the other hand, Lily travels with Ted and she tries to convince Ted to put a closure on his feelings for ex Robin emphasising that he must be a reliable friend and allow her to marry Barney without messing up the ceremony.

In Episode 2 titled "Coming Back," Barney will find out about the divorce of his brother James, portrayed by Wayne Brady, while he is getting married. The sad family news will drive Robin into a commitment issue panic mode and gets anxious on how Barney deals with it.

"How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 returns on Monday, September 23, with the special back-to-back episodes starting at 8 p.m. on the CBS television network.
