The Duchess' official hairstylist has revealed his secrets on how he creates Kate's wonderfully-blow dried hair.

Richard Ward, the official hairdresser of Kate Middleton, dished out helpful tips on how to mimic the Duchess' princess-worthy hair-do. Ward owns the Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa - a salon frequented by both Kate and her sister Pippa. "Both Kate and Pippa have amazing hair naturally" says Ward in an interview with US Weekly. "If you've got a client like Kate who's going to be photographed as much as she is, to have naturally beautiful hair is great", continues the hairstylist in the same report.

The now famous hairdresser calls Kate's hair-do "a natural Chelsea blow-dry", which can be done by using a blow dryer with a "concentrator nozzle" and real bristle brush on hair that's 80 percent wet. The hair needs to be wet like that so the blow-drying will "get the frizz out".

"If you rough dry your hair too much, or you throw your head upside down and wave the hairdryer through it, that makes it go frizzy", says the royal hairdresser in the same interview. Ward also mentioned how Kate gets a trim every now and then to keep split ends at bay. "Anyone with long hair should have it trimmed regularly," says Ward. "Also get a deep conditioning treatment every six weeks or so to keep it healthy", concludes the stylist in the post.
