'How to Get Away With Murder' season 3 episode 12 spoilers: Annalise is out for revenge against those who framed her for murder on ‘It’s War’

Previously on “How to Get Away With Murder,” Wes’s (Alfred Enoch) body was transferred to another morgue by Nate Lahey (Billy Brown). Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) was also released on bail after a little strategy. She will be out for revenge in the next episode, aptly titled “It’s War.”

The official episode synopsis on ABC stated that Annalise will embark on a mission to bring down District Attorney Denver (Benito Martinez) and Assistant District Attorney Atwood (Milauna Jackson). In the meantime, Asher (Matt McGorry), Laurel (Karla Souza), Connor (Jack Falahee), Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) continue to unravel the mystery behind Wes’s murder. Nate also makes a shocking discover in “HTGAWM” Season 3 Episode 12.

In the promo video of “It’s War” on YouTube, Annalise told her students that she failed to protect them. Asher tried to reassure her that she has their support, but Annalise remains doubtful. Connor apparently does not trust Annalise and told Oliver to get the details on her phone.

Oliver, however, does not want to go behind her back. Evidence was reportedly deleted and a body is missing. Annalise was shown saying that the man she is after lost a young man’s body to frame her for murder. Bonnie (Liza Weil) also discovered that the District Attorney’s Office holds files on people surrounding Annalise, including her and the Keating 4.

Billy Brown previously said in an interview with TVLine that Nate is only loyal to himself. Someone forged his signature to have Wes’s body transferred to a different morgue, but he did not share who it could have been. The actor said that it is almost absurd to have someone copy Nate’s signature without expecting to get caught. The culprit is obviously not very smart to try such a move.

The effects of Wes’s death and the disappearance of his body continue to cause ramifications throughout the campus, the court and the criminal justice system. Annalise will have to strategize carefully without further widening the rift between her and her students.

Although there are only three episodes remaining on “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 3, the show has recently been renewed for a fourth season by ABC. “How to Get Away With Murder” will air next on Feb. 16, 2017 in the US. In Australia, it will air on Channel Seven. “It’s War” is directed by Hanelle Culpepper and written by Brendan Kelly.
