The upcoming episodes of “How to Get Away with Murder” (HTGAWM) Season 2 will continue to explore on the storyline that has been set up in the premiere episode. The synopsis and promo video of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2, episode 2 titled “She’s Dying” tease on Nate Lahey’s hearing, Annalise Keating’s new case and her fate after what happened in the premiere episode.

The synopsis of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2, episode 2 in a TVGuide report teased that the investigators will come up with a shocking new charge against Annalise Keating’s clients, Caleb (Kendrick Sampson) and Catherine Hapstall (Amy Okuda).
In the premiere episode, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) decided to take on the case of Caleb and Catherine, who are accused of murdering their wealthy adoptive parents.

Meanwhile, the promo video for the second episode teased about the intense cross-examination that Annalise must endure during Nate Lahey’s preliminary hearing. In an interview with TVGuide , series creator Peter Nowalk talked about what the HTGAWM fans can expect in the new season of ABC’s legal drama series.

The first couple of episodes will cover on Detective Nate Lahey’s trial after Annalise framed her lover for the murder of her husband Sam Keating (Tom Verica). Nowalk teased that guest stars Famke Janssen, “The Vampire Diaries” actor Kendrick Sampson, Amy Okuda and Matt Cohen are all part of the show’s mysteries.

Nowalk also admitted to TVGuide that he is excited about “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 because it will center on revealing stuff about the old and new characters, as well as finding out about their past. Two of the HTGAWM characters that the fans will get to know more in the second season are--Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry) and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber).

Asher would have to make a decision on which side he wants to belong in “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2. “He had the DA who is putting Nate on trial for Sam's murder come to his door and clearly wanted to use him as some sort of spy. Does he spy on Annalise and betray Bonnie [Liza Weil] or does he go full fledge into Team Keating?” Nowalk shared.

As for Frank, Nowalk assured the HTGAWM fans that they will find out the reason why he was so eager to fulfill Sam Keating’s request of killing his pregnant mistress Lila Stangard (Megan West) in the finale of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 1. The show will dig deep into the Frank-Sam backstory and it involves Annalise in a big way, added Nowalk.

“You're gonna see a lot more of Frank this season,” Nowalk teased. “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 will return with episode 2 titled “She’s Dying” on Thursday night, Oct. 1, at 10/9c on ABC.
