Actor Jack Falahee, who portrays “How to Get Away with Murder” character Connor Walsh, recounts in an interview his work experience with co-stars Viola Davis and Matt McGorry in the second season of ABC’s legal drama series. Falahee also talked about fame, family and what he wants to do in future projects.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2 spoilers.

Falahee revealed in an interview with The Michigan Daily that filming the serious court scenes in “How to Get Away with Murder” (HTGAWM) Season 2 have been difficult for the cast members because they try to make each other laugh. The 26-year-old actor shared that he and co-star Alfred Enoch, who portrays Wes Gibbins, bite their lips to the point of self-harm as they try to suppress laughter on the set.

“Aja (Naomi King) is over there falling asleep. It’s hilarious,” Falahee further added.

Falahee also talked about his “bromance” with HTGAWM cast member Matt McGorry, who portrays Asher Millstone, both on- and off-screen. When asked about his close friendship with McGorry, Falahee revescaled that the two of them get together sometimes to exercise different muscles by reading Shakespeare.

“Matt’s just so funny,” Falahee shared.

Falahee has admitted that it has been an honour for him to watch Viola Davis, who portrays HTGAWM character Annalise Keating, act in front of him. However, Falahee shared that filming can become exhausting especially when he and the 50-year-old Emmy Award-winning actress film the scenes coming from the same two pages for 14 hours.

Being a part of “How to Get Away with Murder” has made Falahee a famous person. When it comes to the response of his family about his current fame, Falahee admitted that his loved ones are really supportive.

“But my grandma still jokes with me like, ‘When are you going to get a real job?’” Falahee shared with a laugh.

Falahee has an older sister, who happens to be a lawyer, so she saved the “How to Get Away with Murder” cast members from relying on the film “Legally Blonde” to learn courtroom jargon. As for his future projects, Falahee shared that he would love to come back to musical theater.

In the second-half episodes of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2, the fans can expect more on the storyline involving Falahee’s character Connor Walsh and his boyfriend Oliver Hampton (Conrad Ricamora). As for Asher Millstone, series creator Peter Nowalk discussed in an interview with TVGuide the possibility of meeting Tiffany Howard, the gang rape victim at the Millstone lake house on Trotter Lake, when the show returns from its winter hiatus.

“Right now, I don't know if we'll meet her, to be honest,” Nowalk shared.

Nowalk thinks that the Trotter Lake storyline can still be incorporated in the TV series if there is a real reason to do it and the HTGAWM team would have to really allot time to that storyline involving Asher. “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 will return with episode 10 on Feb. 11, 2016 at 10/9c on ABC.
